The Department of Mechanical, Aerospace and Biomedical Engineering (MABE) at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, invites applicants for one tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor in mechanical or aerospace engineering. Responsibilities include teaching engineering courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, conducting research in engineering, developing externally funded research programs, and producing archival publications in leading scholarly journals. It is expected that the candidate will develop graduate courses in their areas of research to complement the departmental growth and will contribute in meaningful ways to the diversity and intercultural goals of the University. A PhD in mechanical or aerospace engineering or a related field is required
