Faculty in the CBE department (https://engineering.nyu.edu/) at NYU Tandon School of Engineering is seeking to hire a Research Engineer to join in exciting projects in the area of inkjet printing of energy storage devices. Candidates should be adept at working independently and collaboratively, and should possess strong interest in applying fundamental materials science and engineering skills to the interdisciplinary task of electrochemical device printing. The research engineer will be expected to conduct ceramic and polymer processing experiments, perform ceramic and polymer ink formulation, characterize ceramic and polymeric materials using a range of materials and electrochemical characterization techniques (FTIR, TGA/DSC, rotational viscometry), and/or customize and operate a piezoelectric inkjet printer.

Minimum Masters Degree and relevant experience in in the area of inkjet printing of energy storage devices a plus.
